Are you really meant to love your enemy?

Is it love thy enemy?

YES! It is written: Matthew 5:43-48; "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbour and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven".

And: Luke 6:27-28; "But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you".

This means your greatest enemy Satan the Devil and demons must also be prayed for and loved, even though it can be hard at times, Jesus commanded it. As with all things, it just takes time then you can forgive.

Forgiving someone is not worshipping them. Practice makes perfect.
